New York Central DeWitt Clinton pattern 7 1/2″ Plate
The “DeWitt Clinton” pattern was used on the New York Central System from 1925 to 1951. It was created to mark the centennial of the chartering of the Mohawk & Hudson Rail Road in 1831. This plate was produced by Syracuse China with a date code of 1944. This piece is in very good used condition – there is some small amount of knife marks in the center of the plate.
