Missouri Pacific Railroad “State Capitals” 10 ½” Service Plate

The “State Flowers” pattern was used on the Missouri Pacific Railroad from the late 1920’s through the early 1940’s.  This service plate was produced by Syracuse China with a date code of 1929.  This plate featured the images of the state flowers of the states served by the Missouri Pacific.  This plate has a fair amount of surface wear and utensil marks.  It measures 10 ½” across, and it does not have any chips, cracks or hairlines. On the back it is stamped “Syracuse China” and “Made for the Missouri R.R.”
