Erie “Centennial” pattern Souvenir Plate
Erie “Centennial” pattern china was produced as a festive reminder of Erie RR’s 100th anniversary, in 1951. It was only made in the dinner plate, but they were made on two different grades of china – a thinware version as souvenirs, and a restaurant-grade china for dining car use. The thin version was sold to people who visited the Centennial exhibit train in 1951. This thin plate version was produced by Kettlesprings Kilns. It is in near mint condition.
